Our client a national leading provider in training is seeking a Training Supervisor to add to their team.

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare workstations for customers training sessions (ie tapes, record cards)

Check customer records for any special requests

Welcoming all visitors to the centre in a pleasant and professional manner

Induct new customers in accordance with company procedures

Escort customers to work station and make comfortable

Conduct regular ward rounds of the training centre

Take time to build rapport with customers

At the end of training session re book customers for next session (ensure record cards for all students are completed accurately at end of each session)

On completion of a training session/course confirm with customer they are confident with material and provide additional help where appropriate.

Ask all customers to complete the course questionnaire and the end of each course.

Proactively promote the “Recommend a Friend” voucher scheme to customers

Answer inbound calls within 3 rings

Manage telephone enquiries in accordance with company procedure

Complete Enquiry Sheet in accordance with company procedure (ensuring marketing activity is accurate)

Pass completed enquiry sheets immediately to relevant personnel

Keep up to date with product knowledge and conduct regular CPD activity

Prepare for and attend appraisal interviews with Branch Manager

Undertake training and development activities in accordance with Branch Manager instructions

Make customers aware of courses that may be suitable for them

Make customers aware of funding and loan schemes that may be suitable for them

Refer possible cross/up sell opportunities to Branch Manager/ Second Sales person

Monitor DNTU and make concerted efforts to rebook

Complete all customer course administration accurately and in a timely manner

Ensure that review of progress against training plan/ILP with customer is accurately recorded

Keep MIS up to date and accurate (including detailed tutor support notes for customers)

Maintain confidentiality of customer information in accordance with the Data Protection Act

Process payments for courses sold, ensuring the payment is taken accurately (a receipt is issued for each and every payment and must contain the full name of the student, how they paid, the amount, the date and the course the receipt refers to. If payment is made via the PDQ machine, the second copy is to be attached to the receipt)

Where appropriate assist customers in the preparation and completion of their CV

Sign post customers to relevant employment agencies

Maintain good housekeeping (ensure that the training centre and students area is clean and tidy at all times, equipment is in good working order, reporting of hazards)

Administer/invigilate Validation Tests, ensuring all necessary materials are available and that the exam is carried out within the guidelines as set out by Pitman Training Group

Discuss with customer second attempts to ensure they understand errors

Validation Tests submitted to PTG in an accurate and in a timely manner , (ensuring a list of whose tests sent is enclosed and that a copy of this list has been filed in the correct folder. This is to be completed every Friday without fail)

General ad hoc administration as and when required by the Branch Manager.

Ensure post sent at the close of business

Check personal e-mail twice daily and pass messages onto the relevant personnel when appropriate

Weekly stock take and workbook orders

Ensuring workbooks are administered in accordance with latest training supervisor notes

Ensure Validation Test papers are stored in accordance with company procedures

Produce notice board information in accordance with company guidelines

Administration of supervisor notes (ensure all notes and centre copies are kept up to date and all model answers are kept in good condition and filed correctly)

Provide assistance with exhibitions, open days, workshops, presentation evenings as and when required

Hours will be Monday-Friday 8.30-5pm
