My client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager who can speak fluent German.

This full time position (40 hour working week) will require a flexible approach and the post holder may be required to work as and when the demands of the job dictate. This is a challenging office based role with regular Sales visits to Germany & occasionally other locations.

The work will be generally in, but not limited to the following areas: -

Lead Management
* Assistance in identification of potential new customers
* Qualification of customer enquiries from website, magazine adverts & direct contacts

Customer Application Support
* Review of site drawings, technical specs, 3rd party equipment integration & material product data.
* Assessment & selection of potential technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

Preparation of Technical Proposals
* Creation of quotations & support documentation to promote a sale

Follow-up sales process management
* Monitoring, tracking of proposals
* Customer support during equipment tests

Support of SaleTerritory
* Visits, exhibitions & other activities in support of Sales

Other Unspecified Activities
* General Sales related tasks required by department manager - as and when necessary in support of the company’s activities

Training/Skills Required
The self motivated, result oriented candidate will ideally offer the following experience:-
* Consultative Solution Selling Experience
* Knowledge of the Processing Industries
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Technical/Mechanical Engineering Bias
* IT Literacy – with Microsoft Office products
