Our client who promotes independent living for those with learning disabilities in is need of part-time support workers to work on their respite unit based in Tonbridge. Your duties will include:

To ensure all of our clients Policies and Procedures are followed

To ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times.

To ensure all necessary precautions taken in relation to Health and Safety of the individual and visitors are followed in accordance with statutory and local policies

Assist the Home Manager in developing and implementation of Care Programmes and their reviews, ensuring the needs of the individuals are met.

Report any deficiencies of the services of any nature to the Home Manager.

To ensure all medications is stored, controlled, administered and recorded as prescribed by the G.P and adhering to policy.

To ensure the property of the home and individual is well maintained and that up to date inventories are kept.


You must have a minimum 2 year background in caring for those with learning and physical disabilities and be competent in manual handling.
